About this tool
The ladder game, also known as ghost leg or Amidakuji, is a classic way to assign prizes or penalties fairly. Enter two to ten players and a result for each, such as winner and blank, or tasks like buying coffee. The tool draws random horizontal lines between the vertical rails, and tapping a name animates that player's path down the ladder to a hidden result. Because every path ends in a different slot, each result is used exactly once. You can reveal all results at once or redraw the lines for a new layout. Everything runs in your browser, and a share link recreates the identical ladder for your friends.
How to use
- Enter the names and the result for each player, or use the one-winner shortcut.
- Press Draw the ladder, then tap a name to follow its path.
- Tap Show all results to reveal everything, and share the link with friends.
