About this tool
A click speed test, or CPS test, measures how many times you can click in a fixed time.
CPS means clicks per second, so the score is your number of clicks divided by the length of the test. Choose 1, 5 or 10 seconds, then click the blue area: the timer starts on your first click and stops by itself.
When time is up you see your clicks and your CPS, and the best score for that length is kept in your browser so you can try to beat it. What is a good CPS?
Some people land around 5 to 7 clicks per second with ordinary clicking, and faster scores usually come from special techniques or from a mouse that registers quickly, so there is no single right number.
For example, 45 clicks in 10 seconds is 4.5 CPS. Why does the length matter?
In a 1-second test you can burst for a moment, while 10 seconds shows how well you keep your pace, so scores are usually lower on longer tests and the best score is saved for each length separately.
Results depend on your mouse, trackpad or screen, so compare scores from the same device. Click in a relaxed way and take breaks, because very long fast clicking can tire your hand and wrist.
The best score is stored only in this browser and nothing is sent anywhere. For other quick skill games try the Reaction Time Test or the Typing Speed Test.
