About this tool
This Suneung countdown tells you how many days are left until the College Scholastic Ability Test, the national university entrance exam in South Korea.
The exam date is pre-filled with Thursday, 19 November 2026, the announced date for the 2027 academic year, and you can change it to any other date, such as a mock exam.
The tool counts calendar days between today and the exam date based on your device's clock. A future date is shown as D-n, the exam day is D-Day, and a later date is D+n.
It also converts the remaining time into weeks and days, shows the last weekend before the exam, and lists the calendar dates of D-100, D-50 and D-30 so you can set study milestones.
For example, if today is 2026-10-11, the exam is 39 days away, which is 5 weeks and 4 days, and D-30 falls on 2026-10-20. The last weekend before a Thursday exam is the Saturday and Sunday five and four days earlier.
The calculation counts days only and ignores time of day.
Exam dates and schedules can change, so always confirm the official date through announcements from the Ministry of Education and the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation.
