About this tool
This time calculator covers four jobs in one place.
In the first tab you stack as many rows as you like and mark each one as plus or minus, so 1:30:00 plus 0:45:00 minus 0:10:00 gives 2:05:00, shown as hours:minutes:seconds and as decimal hours.
The second tab finds the time between two clock times and handles shifts that pass midnight, so 22:00 to 06:30 with a 30 minute break gives 8 hours.
The third tab is a weekly timesheet with start, end and break for each day, and it adds up daily and weekly totals in h:mm and in decimal hours, which is handy for part-timers and freelancers.
It only adds hours and does not work out pay or legal overtime, so use the Part-Time Pay Calculator for that. The fourth tab adds a duration to a date and time, for example 36 hours after 9:00 on October 11.
Daylight saving changes and time zones are not applied, because only the numbers you type are used. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
How to use
- Pick a tab: add or subtract, time between two times, weekly timesheet, or date plus time.
- Enter hours and minutes, clock times and breaks, or a starting date and a duration.
- Read the total in h:mm:ss and decimal hours, then share it or check pay in the Part-Time Pay Calculator.
