About this tool
Who Treats Today is a playful card-flip tool for friends who cannot decide who buys the coffee, who picks up the dessert, or who takes the light mission.
Type the names of everyone at the table, then press the button to lay out one face-down card for each person. Pass the phone around and let each friend tap a card.
Exactly one card is the duty card, and it is placed by your browser's secure random generator, so everybody has the same chance no matter where they sit or when they tap.
When the duty card turns over, a cheerful message such as Today's coffee is on Mina appears with a little confetti.
You can switch to mission mode, where the chosen friend gets a gentle task like singing one line, giving three compliments, or a cute aegyo, and skipping is always fine.
It works well for cafe breaks, team dinners, club meetups and group projects. It is a tool for choosing a turn for fun, so please do not put money or goods on the line.
Names never leave your device, and the share card can use Friend A, B, C instead of real names. Press Decide once more to start a fresh round.
How to use
- Type each friend's name on its own line (2 to 12), or fill in Friend A, B, C.
- Choose what today is for: a treat such as coffee or dessert, or a light mission.
- Press Lay out the cards, then pass the phone so each friend taps one card.
- The duty card turns over with a message. Share the result card or press Decide once more.
