Each animal has its own pool of 10 lines written around its popular image, such as the quick-witted Rat, the steady Ox, the brave Tiger, the gentle Rabbit, the dreamy Dragon, the wise Snake, the free Horse, the soft Sheep, the playful Monkey, the tidy Rooster, the loyal Dog and the happy Pig.
A second pool of 40 short closing nudges, 16 colors, 28 items and 12 sweet-spot times is mixed in.
The date on your device picks one entry from each pool in rotation, so your animal gets the same card all day, other animals get different cards, and tomorrow it changes.
The pools cycle, so a line can return after some time, but the whole combination repeats rarely.
Your animal is found with the common rule: birth year minus 4, divided by 12, and the remainder tells the animal (remainder 0 is the Rat).
The zodiac year officially changes at Lunar New Year, which falls in late January or February, so if you were born in January or early February, tap your animal yourself.
Your animal and birth year are saved only in this browser, so tomorrow your card appears at once. A small streak line shows how many days in a row you have visited on this device, and nothing is sent to a server.
