About this tool

A case converter changes the capital letters in your text with one click, so you can turn a sentence into UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case or kebab-case without retyping it.

Paste a paragraph and every format appears at once, each with its own copy button.

Title Case capitalizes the main words of a headline and keeps small words such as a, the, of and in lowercase unless they come first or last, which is the style most blog posts, book titles and headings use.

Sentence case capitalizes only the first word of each sentence and the word I, which is handy when text was typed in all caps by accident.

The last four are naming styles used in programming and URLs: camelCase joins words and capitalizes each one after the first, PascalCase capitalizes all of them, snake_case joins words with underscores and kebab-case uses hyphens, which is also the usual style for web addresses.

The converter splits words at spaces, punctuation and existing capitals, so helloWorld becomes hello_world. Style guides disagree about small words, so check the guide you need for formal writing.

Your text is converted in your browser and is never sent or saved.
