Daily Color Guessing Game is a free color puzzle that gives everyone the same secret color each day.
If you like daily word games, color-matching games or hue guessing quizzes, this is the colorful version: instead of letters you guess a shade.
You have six tries, and every guess tells you how close you are, so by the last row you can usually see the answer taking shape. How does it work?
Move three sliders: hue (the position on the rainbow), vividness (how pale or strong the color is) and brightness (how dark or light it is). Press the guess button and each slider gets a tile.
A green tile means spot on, yellow means close, and gray means far away.
An arrow next to the tile shows which way to move that slider next, and a small thermometer emoji tells you whether you are freezing or burning hot overall.
When all three tiles are green, you win and the secret color is revealed with its HEX code. How is the puzzle chosen?
Today's color is generated from the calendar date on your device with a small random-number recipe, so every visitor in the same time zone sees the identical color all day, and a new color appears at midnight.
The recipe can make about 960,000 different shades, so there is no short list that repeats. The page also shows how long you have to wait for the next puzzle. Q: What is the emoji grid?
A: After you finish, the page builds a small grid of green, yellow and gray squares, one row per guess, without showing the color itself, so you can paste it to friends and compare. Q: Can I replay today's puzzle?
A: Each day's puzzle is one attempt, and your answer is saved in this browser so you can come back and see it. Q: Why do two screens show slightly different colors?
A: Screens are calibrated differently, so a shade can look a little warmer or cooler on another device. This game is made for fun, to enjoy playing with color and to give you a tiny daily ritual.
It is not a vision test and not a design or medical tool. Your guesses and streak history are stored only in your own browser. Only anonymous counts, such as whether a puzzle was finished, are used for site statistics.

How to use
