About this tool
The Color Sense Test is a quick game where you look for the one tile whose color is slightly different from all the others. You start with a tiny 2x2 grid, and every correct tap moves you to the next stage with a bigger grid, up to 8x8, and a smaller color difference. You have 60 seconds in total, and each wrong tap costs you 3 seconds, so careful eyes beat fast fingers. Your score is the highest stage you reach. As a rough guide, stage 6 or more is average, stage 11 is sharp, and stage 22 or more is an excellent absolute color sense. Colors are random pastel shades, so every round is different. Your best score is saved only in your own browser, and you can send a challenge link so friends can try to beat your record. Screen brightness and settings affect how colors look, so scores are just for fun. This game is not a color vision test. If you have concerns about your eyesight, please see an eye doctor.
