About this tool
The Reaction Time Test measures how quickly you respond to a visual signal. The screen starts sky blue, and after a random wait of 1.5 to 4 seconds it turns pink. Tap as soon as you see the change. You play five rounds, and your score is the average in milliseconds, so lower is better. If you tap before the color changes, the round is repeated. Average human visual reaction time is roughly 250 milliseconds, under 200 is excellent, and over 400 is common too. Results depend on your device, screen refresh rate and touch delay, so treat the number as a fun reference rather than a medical or professional measurement. Your best score stays in your browser, and you can send a challenge link to friends.

- Press Start, then tap the box to begin round 1 and wait on the blue screen.
- When it turns pink, tap as fast as you can. Tapping early repeats the round.
- After 5 rounds, check your average and send a challenge to a friend.
