About this tool

A shopping cart total calculator (wishlist total or free shipping checker) adds up what you plan to buy before you press the pay button and tells you how far you are from free delivery.

Type the price and quantity of up to five products, then a coupon or discount, the shipping fee and the order amount that makes shipping free. Subtotal = sum of price x quantity.

Amount after discount = subtotal minus the discount. If that amount reaches the free shipping line, shipping is 0; otherwise you pay the fee and the gap is line minus amount.

For example, 12,000 x 2, 8,500 x 1 and 23,000 x 1 make 55,500; a 3,000 coupon leaves 52,500, so with a 60,000 line and a 3,000 fee you still need 7,500 more and the amount to pay is 55,500.

Is it worth adding a small item to reach free shipping? Compare the gap with the fee: if the gap is bigger than the fee, paying the fee is cheaper.

Shops differ on whether the line is checked before or after coupons, so check the rule on the store page. The sample numbers are made-up, so replace them with your own. Calculated in your browser; nothing is sent.

For percent savings see the discount calculator, and to see the unit price of each item use the unit price calculator.

  2. Enter the coupon or discount amount and the shipping fee.
