About this tool
Flag Quiz is a free daily geography game: you see an emoji flag and pick the right country from four choices.
Each day brings a round of eight flags, and you start with three hearts. A wrong answer costs a heart; lose all three and the round ends.
If you like flag quizzes, country guessing games or quick geography practice between chats, this is a light daily habit that quietly teaches you the world. How do you play? Tap the country name that matches the flag.
The button turns green if you are right, or red if you are wrong, and the correct one is shown in green so you learn it.
After the round you see your score, a row of green and red squares, how many hearts are left, and a short list of the flags you missed with their names.
You can copy or share the result as an emoji line without spoiling the flags. Where do the flags come from? The quiz draws on more than 190 countries, which is all United Nations member states plus the Vatican City.
The countries are visited in a fixed shuffled order that follows the date on your device, so every player gets the same eight flags on the same day, and a country does not come back until all of the others have had a turn.
The wrong choices are picked by the same date recipe, so the round is identical for everyone. A countdown shows when the next round arrives. Q: Why do I see letters instead of flags?
A: Some computers, especially Windows PCs, show flag emoji as two letters, such as KR. The page warns you when this happens, and on a phone you will see the real flags. Q: Do the country names change with the language?
A: Yes, the choices switch between English and Korean names when you change the language. Q: Is the list political?
A: It follows the usual names of United Nations member states, plus the Vatican City and is made only for a light quiz, not to take any position. The game is made for fun and general knowledge.
Flags and names can change over time, so please treat it as a casual quiz rather than an official reference. Your streak and answers stay only in this browser.
