About this tool
This free ID and passport photo cropper helps you fit a photo you already have to the right size.
Choose a preset such as the Korean passport (3.5 x 4.5 cm, head 3.2 to 3.6 cm), Korean alien registration, half-size 3 x 4 cm, card size 5 x 7 cm, or the US passport and visa photo (2 x 2 in).
Drag and zoom your picture inside the frame and line up your head with the crown line and chin line guides.
Then save one photo at 300 dpi, for example 413 x 531 px for 3.5 x 4.5 cm, or a 4x6 print sheet tiled with as many copies as fit and thin cut lines.
Your photos are never uploaded, because everything runs in your browser.
The tool only crops, scales and tilts slightly; it has no beauty filter and does not remove backgrounds, so start with a plain white background.
This tool helps with size only, and acceptance depends on the issuing agency's rules for lighting, expression, glasses and background, so check the latest guidance such as the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs before you apply.
How to use
- Choose a photo with a plain white background, then pick the photo size (for example Korean passport 3.5 x 4.5 cm).
- Drag, zoom and tilt the photo until your head fits the crown and chin guide lines.
- Download the single 300 dpi JPG or the 4x6 print sheet, and print it at 100% size.
