About this tool
Mood Calendar is a free daily mood tracker that turns your feelings into a colorful month.
Pick one of eight emoji faces for each day (happy, loved, calm, excited, sleepy, sad, grumpy or worried) and the calendar square fills with a matching color.
After a few weeks you have a mood journal in color that is easy to read at a glance.
People look for a mood tracker, an emotion diary, a feelings calendar or a daily mood log, and this page is all of those in one light, cute tool. How do you use it?
Open the page, tap today's square (it is already selected), and tap the face that is closest to how you feel. Tapping the same face again removes it.
You can tap any earlier day of the month to fill in a day you forgot, and the arrows at the top move between months.
Under the calendar you see how many days you logged, your current streak of logged days, your best streak and your top mood of the month.
At the end of the month, save the summary card as a picture or copy a short text to share. Where is my data?
Your entries are saved in your browser's local storage on this device, under keys that start with sugi-mood-calendar. There are no accounts and no server, so nothing you tap or type is uploaded.
The month card is drawn by your browser; saving it or copying the text never sends your day-by-day entries anywhere, and sharing only passes a short summary and the page link.
Because the data lives in the browser, clearing site data or switching phones removes it, so use Export backup now and then and Import backup to restore it. Clear all data wipes everything for this tool in one tap.
The flame line at the top counts how many days in a row you opened this page, which is separate from your logged streak. Is there a daily note? Yes. Below the grid there is a small check-in note that changes every day.
It combines 12 moments of the day with 12 gentle nudges, which makes 144 different notes, and the cycle runs through all of them before any repeats. Q: Is this a mental health tool? A: No.
It is a personal log and a bit of fun. If you feel low for a long time, please talk to someone you trust or a professional. Q: Why eight moods? A: Few enough to pick in two seconds, rich enough to show a pattern.
Q: Can I fix an old day? A: Yes, tap that day and choose again. Q: What does the card show? A: Your colored month, days logged, streaks and your top mood, without any private text.
ⓘ It cannot diagnose or treat anything and it is not advice.
