About this tool

This shoe and ring size converter helps you shop abroad or buy a gift without guessing.

Korean shoe sizes are written in millimeters, while the US, UK and EU use different numbering, so a 250 can become a US men's 7, a US women's 8.5, a UK 6 and an EU 40 depending on the chart.

On the Shoes tab you can type your foot length, and the tool adds about 5 mm of toe room and rounds up to the next 5 mm size, then shows the matching US men's, US women's, UK, EU and Japan sizes along with a full chart from 220 to 300 mm.

On the Rings tab you can start from a Korean ho number, a US size, an EU size, your finger circumference or the inner diameter in millimeters, and see every other system at once.

A ring that is 16.5 mm across on the inside, for example, is about Korean 12, US 6 and EU 52. The page also explains how to measure your finger with a strip of paper or a thin string.

These are standard rule-of-thumb conversions, and brands, jewelers and countries often use slightly different charts, so please treat the results as a reference only and check the size chart of the shop before you buy.

Everything is calculated in your browser, and nothing you enter is saved or sent anywhere.

How to use

  1. Open the Shoes tab and choose whether you are entering your foot length or a Korean shoe size, then type the number in millimeters.
  2. Pick men's or women's US sizing to see the matching US, UK, EU and Japan sizes, and use the full chart to compare nearby sizes.
  3. Open the Rings tab, pick what you know (Korean ho, US size, EU size, finger circumference or inner diameter) and type the value.
  4. To measure your finger, wrap paper or string around its base, mark the overlap, measure the length in mm and enter it as finger circumference.
  5. Check the brand's own size chart before buying, and go up a size if you are in between.
