About this tool

When your audience lives in several countries, it is hard to picture what time it is for them when you hit upload.

This upload time planner lines the time zones up for you.

Set your own time zone (it starts with Korea Standard Time), select the regions where your viewers live, and choose the local hours when you expect them to be free to watch, which is 19:00 to 22:00 by default.

The tool then shows the hours in your own time that fall inside the viewing window for as many regions as possible.

The regions are Korea, Japan, US East, US West, UK, Germany and France, Brazil, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Australia East.

Daylight saving time is handled by your browser for the date you pick, so the result can shift by an hour between summer and winter.

A table lists the local day and time in each region, and a weekly table shows the suggested range for each of the next seven days.

If no hour suits every region, which is common when you pick places on opposite sides of the world, the tool shows the window that covers the most regions instead.

In that case you may decide to focus on your main audience or alternate upload times through the week.

Many creators upload a little before the viewing window starts, so that the video is ready when people open the app, and you can shift the result earlier to do the same.

This is only a planning aid for lining up hours when viewers are likely to be awake. It does not predict or guarantee views, and the best time is different for every channel.

Check your own channel analytics, which show when your viewers are actually online, and treat this tool as a rough first guess. Everything is calculated in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
