About this tool
In Korea, part of the general supply of private-sector apartments is awarded by points (gajeom, maximum 84); the share decided by points depends on unit size and region, and public housing uses a different method.
The score is the sum of three parts: the no-home period (up to 32 points), the number of dependents (up to 35 points) and the length of your housing subscription savings account (up to 17 points).
The no-home period starts on your 30th birthday, or on your marriage registration date if you married before 30, and unmarried people under 30 get 0 points.
Dependents are counted without yourself, 5 points for none and 5 more for each person up to 6 or more, and since 2024-03-25 a spouse's account can add up to 3 points, with the combined account score capped at 17.
This calculator follows the Housing Supply Rules (주택공급에 관한 규칙, amended 2024-03-25) and is for reference only: dependent eligibility such as the residence registration period and each complex's announcement take priority, so confirm the final score on Applyhome (applyhome.co.kr).
It is an estimate and does not replace advice from a professional.
